Guest of honour: textile designer and artisan Laurentine Périlhou, a specialist in macramé techniques

Laurentine Périlhou will be Blossom Première Vision’s guest of honour this 12 and 13 December. For two days, this outstanding artisan and macramé specialist will create a range of high-end textile samples. Right before your eyes, come see radically reworked knotting techniques, giving birth to unique creations.

LAURENTINE PERILHOU will also be present at Maison d’Exceptions, the space dedicated to ultra-creativity, in February 2019 at Première Vision Paris. Access by invitation only.

Textile designer and artisan Laurentine Périlhou specializes in macramé knotting and weaving, techniques discovered and deepened alongside a Chilean craftsman. Taking animal, vegetable and synthetic fibres – whether left raw, adorned with fine stones cut-to-measure by a lapidary, or embellished with pearls or crystals – she explores all the creative possibilities in her Parisian studio.

Minutia, finesse and regularity are the key words to describe the stages in realizing a macramé textile: knot after knot, thread upon thread, these textile compositions gradually take shape and are applied in different categories from fashion and jewellery to decoration and finishings.

See unique and precious textiles created right before your eyes.

Come forge new ties!
